Wow...lots of new things going on! Well, I updated my featured CD list (as you can see), and I also updated the links! They have a whole new look...more like affiliates. Hope they look good. Oh, the best part, as you can see, is that I have a new look! It's all based on Skillet's album "Alien Youth", which is the last CD I reviewed. There are still a few things that need to be fixed, but I hope you like it anyway! Also, I decided that from now on, I will sometimes be posting news updates on some of my fav. bands as well, so whenever I do that, the entry title will always be "Artist update". And BTW, there's more to the "exciting" part...
You probably know I am a major dc Talk fan, right? Ok, crazy-devoted-supporting-promoting-fan is more like it, and then some. But anyway...tonight, I will be watching my dc Talk DVD, "Free At Last: The Movie", so I can "celebrate". Celebrate what, you ask? Well, read this news piece from the JFH...
dc Talk Plays Together For First Time In 3 Years!
While it may not be too uncommon to occasionally see TobyMac and Michael Tait join each other on stage for a classic DC Talk song or two, the original three members made history last night by sharing the same stage as solo acts in Washington State. JfH reader Trevor Hansen wrote in his account of the momentous occasion... "I live in the Seattle area and... last night (Saturday the 24th) Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, Washington hosted Kevin Max, TAIT, and tobyMac in concert together. According to Toby, it was the first time they've all been on the same stage -- even as solo artists -- in three years. After Kevin Max's set (which was only about five songs long and mostly drawn from his upcoming release The Imposter), and TAIT's set (probably the best of the night), Toby performed for almost an hour and then left. Everyone immediately started chanting "DC TALK" and (of course) DC Talk came out and played "In The Light" and "Jesus Freak." Not a big set, but definitely a kind of "historic moment" for Christian rock -- maybe the last time they play on-stage together ever again? (I'm hoping not, but you never know.)" There has been no new news on whether or not the trio will officially reunite but as time passes, the chance of this happening only looks slimmer and slimmer. This November marks the ten-year anniversary of the release of the band's history-altering album Jesus Freak. (from Jesusfreakhideout.com, thanks to Trevor Hansen)
Well, they may not be getting together, but still! That excites me. For now we can only wait and see what happens with them.

I *love* your new links!! Cool! :-)
