...I woke up with Andy Hunter's "To Life, To Love" stuck in my head. It's just about the most addictive dance track ever...its length of 8:22 just isn't long enough! Hah. Really, it's an awesome song. What I like about the tracks on Andy's latest album Life is, they all have the length and timing of a typical DJ mix rather than an average song, yet at the same time, Andy always manages to keep it all very melodic...with the music, and with the vocals of him and GlassByrd's Christine Glass. If you never thought you'd really care for dance music, I highly recommend that you check the album out! Well guess what, since the clips you'll find on the web don't really give you a good idea of what the songs actually sound like, I've created clips of my own for you all to sample.

1. Open My Eyes
2. Come On
3. Alive
4. Wonderful
5. Lifelight
6. To Life, To Love
I guess I forgot to mention it, but you can listen to the full version of "To Life, To Love" at the Random Song page :-)
Anyway, I'll have to be done being all Andy Hunter-fied (or whatever you want to call it, haha). If you hit Continue reading, you'll be able to see a bunch of random and slightly more normal stuff...

• So, I got to pay another visit to my church's youth group on Saturday. It was another very fun visit! I met a very nice girl named Emily who introduced me to almost everybody in the room (which was very nice, because I hardly know anyone in the church). And again, I got to play a lot of ping-pong with my awesome friend, Kasey. It's funny how I haven't even known her for that long and she already feels like one of my best friends. Her sister/oldest sibling Rachel is totally fun and wacky, and feels like an un-official big sister of sorts (lol). Her older brother Justin does music mixing, which is nice, because I thought I was the only person around me who did it...his mixes are really good, too! One of them reminds me A LOT of the song "Sing For Joy" by Dance In Motion (it has the same bass line and similar synths). All in all, Kasey, Rachel, and Justin are some of the greatest friends I've ever had. I'm very thankful for them.
• I'm working on a new section of homegurl.net for CD reviews, so I don't have to be posting them in entries all the time...the way I'm writing (and re-writing) the reviews is a lot easier than before, and I'm hoping they'll be more helpful than before as well. I can't wait until I get everything finished.
• Did you know it's taken me excactly three hours to write this entry?

I have so much fun hanging out with our friends! And I love our youth group...
Wow. That album cover is cool!
