So, it probably won't be as succesful as the 10th anniversery celebration of Free At Last. But I guess it would be slightly unfair if they didn't do something for the 10th anniversery of dc Talk's Jesus Freak, which is probably the most famous and popular Christian album ever. What they did to celebrate Free At Last was quite a treat; they re-released dc Talk's very old video, Narrow Is The Road, touched it up a bit and renamed it Free At Last: The Movie. They also re-released the Free At Last album, giving the cover a few touch-ups, and adding a few remixes and an interview. The last thing done was making a two disc pack entitled Free At Last: The Music And The Movie, which had both the re-released album and video. So, with all those great treats, what to do with the brilliant, platinum, multi-million selling Jesus Freak? Well, we're waiting on a double-disc pack of the album Jesus Freak and the Welcome To The Freak Show: Live DVD. But to make our wait less hard, a Jesus Freak tribute album as been released. Some of the most popular Jesus Freak songs, covered by some of the most popular artists on Gotee Records. Yes, risky. But don't worry, not all the songs were letdowns. I really liked just about everything, but the only ones I didn't care for a whole lot were "Colored People", "What If I Stumble", and especially "Mind's Eye", because that's probably my no. 1 favorite dc Talk song and they way Family Force 5 did it wasn't very melodic...there was a little too much screaming and that's not really how the song is supposed to be. But otherwise, the tribute was good. I wouldn't say it was amazing, but it was good enough. You can click on the link below to see what you think :-)

Sweet! :) That would be so cool. dcTalk was actually the first Christian band I listened to. In fact I bought their first cassette and my whole family fell in love with them.
A tribute album! What a nice nod to DC Talk, even though I'll probably stick with the original. When the U2 tribute album came out my first thought was "I want it!". Then I realized that if I want to hear U2 songs why not just listen to the originals. After all, nobody can do them like U2. IMHO, the same goes for DC Talk. But, whatever... it's just an opinion. :-)
dcTalk! Classic! That's so cool about the tribute album. I'll have to check it out.
By the way, I've never seen anyone do a layout of Paul Wright before. I'd like to get the Sunrise to Sunset album soon!
Hey, I saw that you linked me. Thank you so much!
Since you like Christian music (seems like we have the same taste in that department), did you ever hear of Olivia the Band? They're fairly new in the Christian rock scene. Go to their site (www.oliviatheband.com) to check out some of their music. :)
Since I don't have your e-mail address, I'll just answer your question here. :)
I can't remember how I found your site. I think it was through someone else's. Like one somebody's "links" page or something.
I love dc Talk. They're one of the first christian bands I listened to.
Hey I have two new link me buttons if you want to change my button up. I'm taking down the yellow with hearts ones.
Hey thought I'd let you know that if you put this " border="0" " on your buttons for fan sites and affiliates then you'll get rid of the blue and purple borders on some of them.
