Another nice day with my nieces

It's about time I updated my site, so here I am, recapping a visit from my nieces :-)

It's sad...I don't think I've ever said anything about Niece3, my youngest niece! Infact, I don't think I ever posted anything when I got to see her born earlier this year. Well, now you know all my nieces (Niece1 and Niece2 are the others, incase you forgot) :-) So anyway...I had a lot of fun with them! I let Niece3 lay down on my legs (on her stomach), and when I took her off, my knee was very wet, because she's drooling a lot right now :-D She was sweet though...she LOVES to smile, and when she smiles, she smiles big.

It makes me happy to see that Niece2 loves Niece3 so much...I can tell she really loves having a younger sister. She's always saying at very random times, "I love Niece3!", and "Niece3 is my best friend!". She also loves kissing and talking to her...a while ago, I actually heard her say, "Niece3, why did the chicken cross the road?"...lol.
She's actually been having a little trouble saying "Niece3" correctly and can only say "Seebee"! Ashleigh (her mom, my sister) was telling me that Niece2 was trying REALLY hard to say "Niece3", but she kept on going, "ffffffffff-seebee!" :-D

I also had a blast with Niece1...I was upstairs with her, and she asked me to play the guitar a little, so I did. The best part of that was when Niece1 was making up her own songs to everything I was playing! First, I played something that was a little more exciting and fast (for people who know the guitar, it was Em C G D, and I was muting), and she started singing a really interesting song that I guess was about different emotions, because she started with, "Sometimes we're angry, sometimes we're sad", and I think later in it she might have said something about being nice...I don't know, but it was really interesting and funny :-D Then, I started playing something a little more slow and pretty (Bb F C Dm, I think), and she, of course, made up something pretty and slow to go along with it. By the time I got to the chorus, she did something really funny and tried to hold a very LONG note :-D After that (I had put the guitar down at this point), she told me, "I'm going to sing a song from church!" (we both go to the same church). I didn't catch the first word she said when she started singing, but I think she might have been trying to say "Great is the Lord", or something. But anyway, when I couldn't hear that word she was saying, I said, "wait...*what* is the Lord?", then she started laughing, saying, "You know! The Lord! The Lord, like, God!"...I realized the way I asked her might have made it sound like I didn't know what the Lord was, even though I was actually using the "what" to fill in the word I didn't hear :-D I thought it was hilarious.

Well, that was (most of) my day with my nieces...more later, I guess! :-)
