...and I don't really know why! For some reason, in the past month, I've rarely posted anything! So, I'll fill you in on the few things that have happened recently :-)
Today, my mom and I went out to an awesome restraunt called Noodles & Company. I had a great time there! Every other time I've been there, I've always gotten the mac & cheese (don't ask...it was the only thing on the menu that looked familiar to me, and I was afraid to try anything else!...I'm not always very adventurous when it comes to restraunts), but this time I got the buttered noodles & parmesan...buttered egg noodles with lots of shredded parmesan cheese and bits of Italian seasonings...I also got a side of shrimp, mixed them in, and it made a really good combination! So, everything was quite good, and then we stayed for a while just to chat...discovering the planets in other galaxies was among some of the most interesting subjects ;-)
Later, we came across a subject that caused me to open a Bible, and look for a verse that my mom had mentioned. I found it was Psalm 34 v 2..."The Lord is near to the broken hearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Good one. Sometimes, I'll suddenly get a huge urge to pick up a Bible, and when I read through it, I'm reminded of just how important it is. To quote Rebecca St. James, "It really is our instruction book for life. The more we dig deep into it, the more we know how God wants us to live."
So, on Tuesday, Spence and I went out to the mall on a "sister date" to see Over The Hedge. I had so much fun with her! And the movie was great :-) It was absolutely hilarious, and there were even a couple scenes where I couldn't stop laughing ("Play?!" and THX come to mind). Hammy was the funniest character...I loved the part with the caffeine ;-D (sorry for using all these odd titles for the scenes, I just don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet). The movie also had a great message in the ending :-) Overall, I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun with Spence!
So, to end with a laugh, my niece, Niece1, has been learning about jokes lately (her dad, a.k.a. Aaron, has told her about "Why did the chicken cross the road" and other essentials like that). She finally decided to make up a joke of her own recently, and she told it to me just a few days ago..."Why did the boat cross the water? Because it got stuck in the berries!"...I know, it makes no sense, but it cracks me up because of that. Don't you love the humor of little kids? I know I do ;-)
PS: Check out the Random Song page...it has an extra special song this time that I hope will encourage you :-)

Well I haven't gotten a new job yet but I'm hoping for one soon!
Haha that joke is cute! And yes I am pretty happy!
I was treated to some of Emma's jokes recently and, like you, love the humor of little kids! It was quite a treat.
Love ya!
Hey, great layout. I've always tried doing a star layout but it never really worked out. Great job!
I had tons of fun on that date, and even more fun on our date today! :)
Ugh, updating can be such a drag sometimes. But for some reason, we keep coming back to our blogs. Weird.
Ooh I can't wait to see Over the Hedge! hehe. I love 3d animated movies. Finding Nemo ROCKED.
Hmm I've been hearing a lot of jokes that don't make sense recently.
Ahh cool, you're homeschooled too! Well, this is the kind of stuff you put in your "About Me" page, girl. :)
