It's been ages since I updated...or it feels like that, anyway. Sorry! I don't know why, but I just haven't had that urge to post. Well, it's nice to be back.
So, I got to spend some time with my nieces yesterday, and I had a nice time. Niece3 seems to be growing up more now...I don't know what it is, but to me, she doesn't seem to be so much of an infant anymore...it's sweet and sad at the same time, because I can't wait until she can crawl and talk, yet I can't imagine her being more than a baby. I feel a little sad that I nearly seemed to miss out on Niece2 as a baby...I mean, I saw her all the time and everything, but I was so excited about seeing her grow up, that I've recently had trouble remembering what she was like when she was younger. However, Ashleigh still has some home videos from when Niece2 was a lot younger, and when I watched those, I almost felt like I found a missing piece to a story...I still felt sad that I didn't see them before, but I was glad to at least see the things I missed.
Oh, for those of you who love Lost, Aaron (my brother-in-law) found an Apollo bar! Yes, a real Apollo bar...isn't that awesome! I don't remember exactly how he found it (Ashleigh, are you reading this?), but I still think it's cool. If you don't remember what they were, there was an episode where Rose and Hurley found some in the kitchen area of the hatch.
In the Music section, I added a page called Featured YouTube vid (the title pretty much speaks for itself)...it currently has the music video for "Lose This Life" by Tait...I love that song! I feel kind of bad about the fact that I've never really listened to any of Tait's stuff, because with dc Talk being #2 in my top 3 favorite bands, I should know ALL the solo stuff ;-P Well, I don't actually feel bad, but I would like to check Tait out a little more, because the little I've heard of their stuff seems pretty cool.
I'm getting more excited all the time about the next Newsboys album! 'Go' releases on October 31st and I'm going to do my best to get my hands on the special edition. They've already released three songs, two of which you can hear at the band's MySpace...speaking of their MySpace, you should find a banner that says "This myspace site is best viewed with FIREFOX!"...well, click on that banner, because Firefox really is the best browser ;-) ANYWAY...you've gotta check out the songs, 'cause they're really great. If you've missed the days when the Newsboys were still doing the regular rock stuff, I think you'll be looking forward to the new album. Btw, I made a wallpaper in honor of it.

They were giving the Apollo bars away at a local mall IF you also gave blood (for a blood drive). That sounds really funny...but it's true! :-)
