Finally back...again

"It's been a long time since I last posted..." Don't I say that at the beginning of almost every entry? Yeah, sorry. I don't know why, but ever since that last entry, I haven't been able to push myself to make a post! Well, at least I'm here once again!

So, the Newsboys site is coming along pretty well! I actually haven't even touched it in a few days, but I'll start working on it again soon. I have to say, my favorite part so far has been putting the band member bios together...well, it's not like your typical bio, a list of facts is more like it. But anyway, when you're writing down random facts about the Newsboys, somehow, you can always come up with something humorous and entertaining, because that's what the band members are.

Oh yeah, speaking of the Newsboys, I got the new album (special edition)! It's great! I just realized how much the song "Secret Kingdom" sounds like "Breakfast"...it's almost scary! I mean, the rhythm on the guitar is the exact same, and on top of that, there's whistling in the bridge. It's not really a bad thing, though...it's an awesome song, and I just couldn't help but notice the similarity. So anyway, the album is really great, go buy it! Oh, and the best part of the special edition is the DVD that comes with it! It gives you a lot of background behind a few of the band members (taking you around the places they grew up); you get to see them crack those jokes they're famous for (you know how humor is their trademark); you get to watch them record "Wherever We Go" in the studio...it's really great! The newest member, Paul Colman (yes, of the Paul Colman Trio!) has the best personality, and he's incredibly funny! He's a perfect Newsboy! Here's my proof about the "perfect Newsboy" part...watch him after he's been in the band for only a couple hours! Hilarious. You'll also see him doing a hilarious Bob Dylan impression, but that's the best part of the DVD, so I'm not gonna spoil you for that one yet :-)

So, Niece2 (my niece), had a birthday party...a pirate party. It was great! She and Niece1 were hilarious. They both dressed up like pirates and Niece2 had a blow-up sword (like a beach ball, only a sword in this case)...Niece2 pretended to poke Niece1 with the sword, and said, "I'm gonna fight you!", then Niece1 said, "No, Niece2, you can't fight me! I'm a me-hardy!"...I love that! I just can't figure out what she thinks a "me-hardy" is supposed to be. Lol. Oh, Niece3 looked adorable in her pirate hat ;-) I made a graphic for Niece2, and you can view it in full size if you click the thumbnail below.

I went to see Flushed Away earlier with Spence...it was awesome! I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Wallace And Gromit and/or Shrek (it's made by the same people). I was laughing throughout the entire movie...I don't think a movie has made me laugh that much in a long time! All I can say is, if you're in need of a good laugh, go see it. You'll love it!

Well, I'll be back later. Sorry for the lack of updates!
