About This Site

Let's start all the way from the beginning...once, I had a free blog on Blogger, with the url of homegurl.blogspot.com. It was just a personal page, nothing too special. Eventually, my mom suggested I get a domain, and that's where homegurl.net came about. Because I've never been much of the "girlie-girl" type, I wasn't too crazy about having the word "gurl" in my domain, but I felt like I didn't have a choice (which I did), so I decided I'd just settle with homegurl.net and see where that would go. I blogged on homegurl.net for almost two and a half years, and still had the occasional thought of "If I were to change the url", but I could never think of any good name. But finally, I started thinking hard, and I was coming up with some fairly good titles, but nothing seemed to really work. Finally, I remembered a song that we sing in our church called "Grace Unmeasured." I suddenly realized that it was perfect and I HAD to use it, so then, I thought a little about the words in the song. The words are amazing, and I'd like to let you read them here...
