About Me
To describe me in a nutshell, my name is Jordan (a girl), I go to one of the Sovereign Grace churches (which I LOVE), I love photography (I'm not professional, but I have fun doing it), I do some historic interpreting (18th century / colonial), I play a little bit of guitar, I love Christian music (esp. Newsboys, dc Talk, etc.), my friends, my family, my nieces, and above all, the Gospel and my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm thankful beyond words for God's work in my life. His faithfulness and grace amazes me constantly. I'm amazed that even though I was born in complete and total depravity, He reached down into the darkness where I was and brought me into His marvelous light. He sent His son Jesus to die in my place on the cross. Jesus took on the punishment that I deserved, then rose from the dead. God saved me, not because there was ever any good in me, but because of His great love and grace. I was made alive, freed from sin, justified and free to come before God. I don't think any words could express my joy and gratitude.
I'm exceedingly thankful for my mom and I don't know what I'd do without her. My sisters are the coolest girls on the planet. My nieces are the sweetest, cutest, and funniest things I've ever met. My friends at church are just plain awesome and some of the sweetest and most welcoming people you could ever meet...it's amazing to see people who are so passionate about living for God! My church really is the dearest place on earth.
I LOVE music. I'm good with pretty much any genre, but my tops have to be rock or techno of any kind. As for instruments, I can play the guitar a little, but nothing too special, because I'm basically self-taught. We have a little synth hooked up to our piano, and I like to mess around with that sometimes. I love mixing music on Sony Acid Music Studio 5.0, because of my fondness for electronic music. But don't expect too much of me...again, I enjoy it, but it's not something I'm really great at.
